Mark DeGarmo & Dancers/Dynamic Forms Inc. (MDDF) is a not-for-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization committed to enlivening bodies, shifting perspectives & changing lives. MDDF works in yearlong, multiyear partnership programs with NYC schools, including public school students & communities under-served in the arts, dance & aesthetic education.
QUICK FACTS
- In 2011-12, we taught 1,385 students
- In the last 4 years, MDDF taught 2,571 workshops in 204 classrooms
- 11-year relationship with partnership schools
- 300 cumulative years of faculty experience in the arts
- 120 hours of adult learning opportunities
- Consultant to the NYC Department of Education to develop the Arts Blueprint, serving 1.1 million students in 1,500 schools
- For every $1.00 contributed to MDDF there is $2.11 benefit to society (Columbia Business School, 2010)
